Darryl Hoxie

Darryl Hoxie is a disaster-relief project manager with Legacy Industries in Westwego, Louisiana. Since 2017, he has managed disaster mitigation, recovery, and repair work for residential and industrial properties. His projects have included environmental cleanup work in California, Tennessee, and Florida. Darryl Hoxie also served as program manager for Restore Louisiana, overseeing more than 700 homes, and for Transform 386 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Before joining Legacy Industries, Mr. Hoxie owned Oracle Construction from 1997 to 2017. His background in this field includes custom homes in Jackson, Wyoming, municipal sewer plants and water depots in North Dakota, two hotels, and several RV parks. He also managed an 84-person crew for a school construction project in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, finishing the work under budget and ahead of deadline.

Darryl Hoxie is a licensed general contractor and has also served as a water restoration technician with Servpro. He has also completed environmental safety work connected to large-scale restoration projects. Outside of his construction and disaster-relief work, Mr. Hoxie has taken part in equestrian competition, notably the Clydesdale World Show in 2007, achieving a third-place finish with a six-horse hitch. He is also involved in horse rescue and dog training programs.
